Products Overview
Industrial Gas Springs (IGS) offers a comprehensive range of
compression gas springs, stainless steel, locking and tension (traction) gas springs together
with the required fittings and mounting hardware.
To meet immediate customer needs, IGS stocks a standard range of
compression springs in both standard materials and stainless steel. With available
strokes of 1 to 20” and forces from 2 to 1120 lbs, most applications can be
prototyped with these units.
While many applications can be met with standard gas springs,
special operating and application conditions often require the use of custom
designed gas springs. See the Technical Information section for more details on special
designs.
IGS was set up to meet the specialized needs of gas spring users
and today more than 70% of our customers use compression, locking, tension and
stainless steel units that have been designed to meet their specific application
requirements.
